Update post field action

 

Normally, to change the value of a post, we use the Create Post widget. However, there are cases where you only want users to modify specific fields of a post.

Use case:

For example, you create a ticket management system using a CPT, and you want to manage the ticket status. You may want users to mark a ticket as solved but not allow them to edit the ticket content after it has been submitted. This makes the system easier to manage, while updates can still be handled through a timeline.

In this case, you can use the Update Post Field Action to allow users to mark the ticket as complete.
