Share edit permission

Share Edit Permission is a feature that allows a listing owner to share edit access with other users via email or by selecting them from a user list.

When the Share Edit Permission feature is enabled, the Share Edit Permission field type will appear in the CPT settings, allowing you to add sharing permissions to the Create Post form.

You can display a searchable user list using the User list type, or allow users to add collaborators only by email to make it more secure

Share With Me Filter

To allow users to see posts they have edit access to, you can use this filter to retrieve the list of posts shared with the current user.

Tip: In the My Listings dashboard, you can split the listings into two tabs:

• My Listings: Use the User filter.

• Collaborations: Remove the User filter and use the Shared With Me filter.

Similar to other Voxel filters, you can add this filter to the Search Form widget.

Note

When this feature is enabled, the Post Relation field in the CPT fields will allow admins to configure selection scopes that include Shared With and Shared and Owned.

Similarly, the Post Relation filter will include additional scopes that support Share Edit Permission.

Event

You can configure event content that will be triggered when someone is granted edit permission for a specific CPT.

Extend Post Relation

This feature allows you to extend edit permissions to posts related to the current post.

For example, if you create a post relation between Place and Event and enable Extend Post Relation, sharing edit permission for the Place will automatically grant edit access to all Events related to that Place.
