Popup

Popup is an addon that allows you to create popups using the Voxel popup interface and load either a template or an Elementor page.

The popup loads in client mode (content is only loaded when the popup is opened), which helps prevent the website’s initial page load time from becoming slower.

Popup widget

The Popup Widget is used to create a popup. You can place it anywhere, such as in an Elementor template, a page, or an EA4V Global Template.

Popup ID

• Click to copy the Popup ID. You can use it in Popup Actions to open or close the popup (instructions below).

Toggle Popup

• Used to open the popup inside the Elementor editor.

Dynamic Popup ID

• Used in special cases when the same popup is added in multiple places on a page (for example, placing a popup inside a feed card).

• However, this feature has been replaced by the action “Set Popup Post ID Before Open” (see instructions below).

Content Type

• Basic: Load a page or an Elementor template.

• Advanced: Load a post ID inside a template (for example, loading a Place post ID inside the Place Card template).

Reload Content Every Time Open Popup

• If enabled, the popup content will reload every time the popup is opened.

Open As

• Modal: Open the popup in the center of the screen.

• Popover: Open the popup next to the trigger element.

Controls used to configure the popup header and title.

Params Settings

By default, EA4V Popup loads the template without using the browser parameters. These settings allow you to add parameters when loading the popup template.

Popup ID

Enter the Popup ID copied from the instructions above to open the popup.

Change Header Title & Set Post ID Before Open

These controls are useful when you want to open a popup for a Voxel Post Feed (for example, a Quick View popup).

Instead of placing a popup inside each card—which is not optimal because it creates many popups in the DOM—you can create a Global Template that contains a single popup.

Then use Change Header Title and Set Post ID Before Open to dynamically load the correct content into that single Quick View popup before it opens.
