Initial Avatar

Initial Avatar is a feature that automatically generates an avatar based on the first letter of the user’s name when they do not have an avatar.

You only need to enable this feature in EA4V, and everything will work automatically.

Initial Avatar modifier

In addition to automatically generating user avatars, this addon also allows you to create logos or other images based on text initials using the Initial Avatar modifier.

For example, if you want the logo of a Place to be automatically generated from the Place name, go to the logo image field and add the Get Letter Placeholder Image modifier, then configure the settings.

Note: In the “Save generated image to field key” setting, you must select the field where the generated image will be saved. The generated image will then be automatically assigned to that field of the post (in this case, the logo field key).

Make sure you disable the Default Image for the image field to ensure the modifier works correctly.
